New Exoplanet found Very Close to its Star

Twice size of Earth, Wolf 503b orbits star every six days and was discovered by an international team of Canadian, American and German researchers using data from NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope. The find is described in a new study whose lead author is Merrin Peterson, an Institute for research on exoplanets (iREx) graduate student who started her master’s degree at Université de Montréal (UdeM) in May.

New approach would eliminate visual disturbances without additional bulky optics. While most interaction with digital content is still constrained to keyboards and 2D touch panels, augmented and virtually reality (AR/VR) technologies promise ever more freedom from these limitations.

Apolipoprotein A-IV, known as ApoA-IV, is a plasma protein. Levels of ApoA-IV increase after the digestion of foods, particularly foods high in unsaturated fats, such as olive oil. Higher levels of ApoA-IV in the blood have been reported to be associated with lower rates of cardiovascular disease.
